Starring colours
The elegance of the classic style is diluted in the reinterpretation of the Positano range of kitchens, which reduces the decorative aspect to the advantage of greater formal cleanliness and practicality of use.
In this realisation in Ostianio, in the province of Cremona, the available space - really bright - has been used to obtain a large and welcoming dining area, framed by the composition that occupies three of the four sides of the room.
In this project of sober elegance, what immediately captures the attention is the exciting use of colour, exploited as a real piece of furniture. A palette designed to enhance more, to create a protagonist of colour that anyone defines neutral: the white, chosen as the finish of this classic Positano with hood and plinth in copper and a central block in brushed steel.
The idea was to paint the two short walls in a particular sugar paper blue, a very special colour that enhances the milky white of the furniture anew, making it a leader that elegantly coordinates with the copper of the profile and of the skirting board, as well as with the wood of the table, the shelf and the fixtures.
Original was not only the choice of colours but also the decision to use them even in a ceiling frame.
The room conquers an important characterisation and the furniture arranged on the longer side of the kitchen - an arrangement of elements made up of additional containment spaces, of shelves equipped with light points and room to host the television - earn a frame.
Great sense of order conveyed by choice to relegate the decorative elements (artistic dishes,vases) to the top of the furniture, taking advantage of the frame of the hood and shelves explicitly installed.
A choice in line with the use of a kitchen made by those who really love cooking and need free plans and support spaces, as well as full comfort from the large sink and the brushed steel burners.
