Hoods

From a work tool to a furniture complement
Hoods

Aspiring hoods are a valuable and indispensable ally in the kitchen; simply, they prevent the environment from becoming a smoky and smelly place ... so ... cheers the hood!

And while we're at it, why not make it a kitchen plus, rather than a minus? Such as? It is enough to make it an element with a strong personality that, on the one hand, characterizes the kitchen and on the other, it fits perfectly into the decor.

Those who are lucky enough to have a spacious kitchen have only the embarrassment of choice: the "furnishing" hood solutions are innumerable, and this is also true for rooms with smaller surfaces.

Let's see some of them.

Let's start with the type of hood that most "show itself": the beautiful suspended shade of the Pienza line which, placed in the centre of the room above the island that contains sinks and burners, definitely draws attention.

Or, again among the suspended hoods but dedicated to those who love the industrial style, the Positano kitchen is perfect, composed of a linear element and a steel hood that recalls the traditional ones.

For those who want to enhance the hood but not to make it the centrepiece of the kitchen, the more traditional ones are ideal: exposed, but resting on the wall.

They are prominent elements of the kitchen, also due to their size, and are mainly trapezoidal in shape, but not only;

we also find them in the more modern horizontal version, surmounted by the standard exhaust pipe.

To harmonize them with the furniture and at the same time to enhance them, they are often placed on a boiserie that frames them, making them stand out, as in the case of the Venezia Provencal line or the new Classic Pienza. Tools that hang below and objects placed on the frame (vases, plants, paintings ...) complete integration with the style and taste of the hostess.

Finally, for those who prefer that the hood is not visible but somewhat masked, pretending to be a piece of furniture, there is no lack of proposal: inserted in a continuum with furniture and wall units, they reflect the colours and decorations of the kitchen elements, creating a harmonious whole.
